As a beginning drummer, or someone new to drum charts, it can be a bit intimidating at first to take the plunge into reading drum music. Sheet music can look complicated and songs can be challenging.

I've gone through our digital drum charts library and sorted out the easiest tunes to play. From Kool & The Gang's fun classic "Celebration" to Sting's peaceful "Fields of Gold," these songs are at the level of being conducive to getting the hang of reading music and sharpening your playing.

My dad uses many of these charts all the time with his students. He always maintains that drum charts are extremely valuable tools to use while learning to play the drums. Getting into the feel of a song and recreating its beat will improve many of your skills, and if you learn by reading your windows of opportunity as a drummer grow immensely.
