A Note On Playing The Videos: Depending on your browser speed, it might be beneficial for you to, after you first press the play button, pause the video and let it load some before you begin watching. That way your viewing will not be interrupted with periodic loading pauses.

Also: Some of these videos play versions of the song (i.e. live versions) that may differ from the transcribed version in our drum charts. Most, however, are identical to our transcribed version. In any case, the exact audio can always be downloaded for around $1 from the Amazon MP3 store.

"Baby I Need Your Loving" by The Four Tops

"Baby It's You" by The Beatles
The Four Tops had their dance moves down, as well as the vocals. The session musicians on the Motown hits are finally getting their due respect these past few years. The likely drummer here is Benny Benjamin. The Beatles do Motown. I love the raw sound of the early Beatles.

"Baby Scratch My Back" by Slim Harpo
"Bad Case Of Loving You" by Robert Palmer
This video might as well just be audio, with someone showing some fine vinyl here. Occasionally the blues pops up on the charts. Slim Harpo was a Louisiana born blues singer/harpist. This song was a hit in 1966. This is the song that gave Robert Palmer a much larger audience in 1979. Speaking of audiences, here he is in front of one in this video.

"Because" by The Dave Clark Five
"Being With You" by Smokey Robinson
The DC5 do a ballad. Someone tell the girls in this video to calm down. Smokey wore many hats, and solo artist was one of them. This was his biggest solo outing, going to #2 in 1981.

"Birthday" by The Beatles
"Breaking Up Is Hard To Do" by Neil Sedaka
You want lyrics? You got 'em in this video. The Beatles sing Happy Birthday their own way. This song was made up in the studio. Neil Sedaka was a Brill Building writer who could sing his own songs. Here he is singing his biggest hit on Rick Shaw's Saturday Hop in 1966. This song has historical significance. Ten years later Sedaka rerecorded the same song, but much slower, and it went to the Top 10 again.
