"Jacob's Ladder" by Huey Lewis & The News

Super concert video here. The News had a great act going, and Huey Lewis had it down also. Bill Gibson is the solid drummer. By the way, being called a "solid drummer," to me, is one of the highest compliments you can pay a drummer. That's a drummer you can depend on.

The writer of "Jacob's Ladder" is Bruce Hornsby. Those of you who went to Sunday School might recall that "Jacob's Ladder" is a story from the Bible.		Here they are, The Temptations doing their Motown magic. Classic song of romantic daydreaming went straight to #1 in 1971. Hey speaking of Motown, have you taken our Motown quiz yet?
"Kiss You All Over" by Exile
Totally '70s sound: engaging rock song with a steady pulse (competing with disco). Romantic and danceable. That synthesizer sound in the background was also characteristic of the times. This song by Exile went to #1 in 1978.
